The bicycle’s story
From frame to everyday favourite.
World-class Danish hand-built vintage racing bike!
1996 is the birth year of this beautiful Banani, which was hand-produced in Denmark and built up with the best from Campagnolo Record and Cinelli.
The frame was purchased separately from Banani in 1996 and assembled by the legendary Johnny Taarnvang, one of the greatest bicycle mechanics, who previously worked with big names like Bjarne Riis and Rolf Sørensen. Original documents exist for the entire history, including the receipt – a piece of history on two wheels!
The condition is nothing short of fantastic, and the pictures do not deceive in any way – this bike truly has to be experienced.
