Find the right bicycle size
Frame size, geometry and riding position. How to find the bicycle that fits your body — even when it is 30 years old.

Numbers that cannot be compared directly
Older bicycles are measured in centimetres along the seat tube; newer ones often use S/M/L. Manufacturers also measure differently. That is why we always give our bicycles’ frame sizes in cm — and use them as a starting point, not a definitive answer.
Geometry means more than one measurement
Two bicycles with the same frame size can feel completely different. The top tube length, head tube angle and handlebar height determine how you sit on the bicycle.
Riding position can be adjusted
How far you have to reach for the handlebars can be fine-tuned with the stem, handlebars and saddle position — and we are happy to do that before you ride home.
Try the bicycle
If you are unsure, come and sit on it. Ten minutes on a bicycle tells you more than all the numbers in a table. Write or call if you would like a particular bicycle brought out.
From the workshop
We do not measure by fixed formulas — we find the size together with you at the workshop.
